Relief after exams…

Relief is an amazing feeling, a sort of tranquility to which you succumb when your stress level falls.

Your muscles relax, releasing the accumulated stress. When you lie down, you melt into your bed. You feel something distinctly different in your whole body.

My nerves were as tense as the cords of a violin but now: my exam session is over and, as I get my results, I feel as if the strings are breaking free one by one.

The oppression in my chest is loosening, I’m able to think about things other than studying. I’m not happy, I still have a lot going on, but I feel better.

I feel calmer, and that’s all I really desire.

Yours sincerely,

Dysfunctional Girl
