She crawled around in the dark, trying aimlessly to find her bearings in the ever spinning surroundings. Blinded, she fell hard to the ground when a table seemed to take a sharp turn left. Nonetheless, she kept crawling. She found a door and pried it open with her foot, dragging herself out of the room. She found herself on a just as dark corridor. Still, she crawled. Her arms cramped as she started to get weaker, struggling to move forward. There was still no light and she had been crawling down that corridor for what seemed like a tremendous amount of time. She decided to push herself though. She crawled. After hours had passed, still nothing could be seen. In complete darkness, she let herself slump against the wall and sighed. She was ready to give up: stomach grumbling with hunger, she curled up into a ball. She had no idea how long she had been in that building, wherever it was.She slowly closed her eyes and just as they were about to shut, she spotted it: a single ray of light in the far off distance.Filled with renewed energy and confidence, she once more started crawling. She crawled, and crawled. She is still crawling, following that single ray of light as her guide.
